Short Heart Touching Story It was 8pm. She was eagerly waiting for husband's call, while simultaneously cutting vegetables for the curry. And suddenly the  phone  rang. Her heart jumped and she rushed to get it. ‘Hi, sweetheart!’ she smiled. ‘Hello, is this Mrs.Rastogi,’ said an unfamiliar voice. Why was a stranger talking to her using her husband ' s   number? ‘Who is this?’ she enquired, tension evident in her voice. There was an awkward pause. ‘Hello!’ she again asked. ‘Ma'am…Ammmm….I am sorry to tell you that……Your husband was shot today in a terrorist attack at our border. I am so sorry for your loss,’ said the voice. Her jaw dropped and her cell phone dropped from her hand. ‘Hello hello hello,’ kept repeating the voice but to no response. what is the height of confidence? This   is  Immadi Prudhvi Tej  who achieved all India first rank in the arguably one of the world's toughest exams IIT-JEE in 2011. After the results came out he was interviewed by a famous news channel.He looked so docile and humble. When he was asked about his future plans,he instantly said he will crack civils examination and contribute his service to the nation in the role of an IAS officer. 4 years later(2015) “Breaking news!!!!" "Immadi Prudhvi Tej from IIT bombay becomes the first guy to be hired by  Samsung (south Korea) company for whopping 1 crore package.” After reading the news I felt happy for him and at the same time I was awakened by his IAS dream and realised   that he left his IAS dream for 1 crore.
