CLUTCH
Clutch is a mechanical device it’s one the major part in transmission power system .it provides for the transmission of power from one component to another component, its placed in between the flywheel and gear box .Next to the flywheel and before to the gear box transmit power during engage condition main purpose of the clutch is control the amount of motion whenever it needs,
Mechanism of clutch
It’s the simplest mechanism connect and disconnect two rotating shafts (drive shafts or line shaft).One shaft attached to motor or engine which provides power its input shaft (driving member)and the other shaft gear box etc.(the driven member)provides output power of work. Clutch is an unit it contains main parts inside into it
Material used for clutch
As i already said clutch is a unit it contains many parts each parts are made with different materials .The outer case of the clutch is made up of cast iron, please wait for my next post so you can get to know more about clutches and its each parts
